Queries allow you to set up complex AND/OR situations that our normal email and reporting targeting logic doesn't cover. In this example, we'll set up a query to capture people who have been active in the last 30 days.
1. Go to the People tab in the Start Organizing menu and select Queries. Create a new query. Give it a name, something like '30-Day Actives'.
2. Make sure 'OR' is selected in the upper right (hint: the background should be orange). Click Add Rule and select Action History. Include activists who have taken 1 action in the last 30 days.
3. Repeat step 2 for Email Click Activity, Email Open Activity, and Subscription Date. This will capture any activists who have taken action, clicked in an email, opened an email, or subscribed in the last 30 days.
4. Ta-da, you're done! Save your query and use it to target emails and reports.
