SoSha is a digital platform providing a centralized suite of tools for organizations to easily build, manage, share, and track organic social media toolkits. SoSha has been utilized by 500+ organizations, including numerous progressive non-profits, campaigns, and advocacy groups, from Planned Parenthood to the 2020 Biden Harris campaign, to spearhead social media campaigns focused on fundraising, petitions, GOTV efforts, and more.
Some key tools and features include:
- AI writing assistant programmed to optimize copy based on audience and platform;
- Centralized platform to edit and manage your various social sharing toolkits and campaigns;
- Variety of embedding options to feature your toolkit in email campaigns, websites, and more;
- Comprehensive analytics dashboard providing key engagement and sharing insights from your toolkits.
Integration with Action Network will update the thank you page redirect link to your chosen SoSha campaign and change the auto-response email to include the SoSha posts, rather than the typical Facebook and Twitter share language.
To set up the integration:
- Navigate to the API & Sync page and go to the SoSha section.
- You will need your API key from SoSha, which you can retrieve on their Integrations page.
- Input your API key and enable the integration.
- When your API key validates, you can choose a SoSha campaign for your action (i.e., petitions, events, ticketed events, forms, letter campaigns, call campaigns, fundraisers, etc.) on your Sharing and Tracking tab.
To associate an action with a particular SoSha campaign:
- Go to the “Sharing and Tracking” tab for that particular action.
- Select a SoSha campaign from the dropdown and save.
- This will update the thank you page redirect link and the auto-response email. Make sure to test both!
Notes:
- If your SoSha campaign has multiple posts, the email auto-responder will only display up to two posts. These posts will be chosen at random.
- The posts in your auto-responder will display all the available buttons for that particular post.
- To track which of your activists come from the SoSha shares, add a source URL argument to the post link in SoSha. So instead of the URL being the link to your action (i.e., https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/my-petition), it would be (https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/my-petition?source=sosha)
